Congratulations to Alan Florez for his well-deserved promotion to National Sales Director of Foundation Risk Partners (FRP).

Alan has been a valuable member of the FRP family from the beginning.  As Executive Vice President of Southeast Sales, he led the development and implementation of the region’s sales and growth strategy, which was instrumental in securing several large national accounts and in positioning the company as a top-25 brokerage in the first two years. Alan continues to direct the Public Entity division of FRP, serves on FRP’s Executive Committee and acted as Chairman for our 2020 Sales Contest (5 for 5 at 95).

In his new role, Alan will lead FRP’s new business growth strategy and implementation, as well as guide the development of resources and capabilities for Sales Producers.  Additional areas of focus as National Sales Director include Producer recruitment and training, program and practice expansion, and Carrier-Producer partnership growth.

During his 15 years in the insurance brokerage industry, Alan has led top-performing agencies to significant growth. Previously, Alan served as Governor Jeb Bush’s Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs and Special Assistant. He is a former member of the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees and currently volunteers his time with the Florida Council of 100, Futures Foundation of Volusia County Schools and the Community Foundation of Flagler and Volusia. Alan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida.

We’d also like to commend Alan for his appointment to the Halifax Health Board of Commissioners that took place on December 23, 2020, by Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis. Based out of Daytona Beach, Florida, Halifax Health Medical Center is a community leader in healthcare serving the region since 1928 and represents more than 500 physicians in 54 subspecialties.  (Daytona News-Journal | Florida Politics)
